I am an extremely versatile voice actor with a friendly Rich Baritone voice, speaking Standard American English (SAE). With perfect diction, I am an expert at inflection and phraseology. I take direction well, allowing me to offer clients multiple takes with many different feels. With a collection of nearly two-dozen “familiar” and “original” character voices and impressions—from "Popeye's high-pitch under-the-breath" wisecracks and singing, to Lance LeGault's guttural "Colonel Decker" from The A-Team—I am your “go-to” choice for animation, video games, off-camera film, radio and television commercials.
I am a quick study at picking up new voices, with the following included in my repertoire: Boris Karloff-From his Frankenstein Monster's growl and speech in "The Bride of Frankenstein," through his early motion pictures such as Edmond Bateman in "The Raven," to his older double-role as both the Grinch, and the narrator, of the Chuck Jones animated classic, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," Jack Mercer's original Popeye's (unscripted) under-the-breath wise-cracks and singing, Lance LeGault as Colonel Decker from The "A-Team," Matt Pinfield (my friend and former MTV boss), both Bob & Ray (Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding),"Star Trek" TV series' William Shatner as Captain Kirk, "Star Trek TV" series' James Doohan as Mr. Scott "Scotty," "Star Trek" TV series' George Takei as Mr. Sulu. "Star Trek" TV series' Walter Koenig as Mr. Pavel Chekov, Art Carney "characters" Ed Norton, Yogi Bear and Barney Rubble, Kermit the Frog, and Bullwinkle the Moose from "Rocky and his Friends"
My voice credits include dozens of television and radio commercials, and industrial narration, as well as pre-recorded puppet voices, and animated segments of Villa Alegre, and Sesame Street.
In addition, I have written and directed numerous radio commercials including a series of Anti-Smoking spots for the American Cancer Society featuring baseball legend Phil Rizzuto, and actress Fran Allison of the classic CBS television show, Kukla, Fran and Ollie.
My on-camera feature film credits include an alien crewman in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and the Emergency Room intern in Woody Allen's Stardust Memories.
