My voice has a sharp tone, centered around tenor and alto. Best description is news-caster "feel" to it. I currently work at my campus radio station reporting local, regional, national and international news. I cannot dictate to clients as to why they should hire me, but they should consider my ability to project and overall use of vocal variety. Work outside of live-broadcasting is an interest of mine as well.
English (North American)
Young Adult (18-35)
I've currently been employed at my campus radio station (WJSU-- Jackson, MS) since February, 2011. My duties include news editing and reporting during live broadcasts; reading from printed script. I've also had to cover pre-recorded voice spots for music segments on the station as well (as a "disc jockey").
I have no structured education specifically pertaining to mass-communications or voice-overs. I've only taken one class of Speech Arts (or public speaking) during a semester.
I currently have a Shure PG58 mic and a Behringer 10-channel mixer.
