I am British living in the USA for almost 5 years in the mid west.
My voice is central northern English as I hail from Lancashire originally, however I have never had the drawl or accent like my family. I count this as an advantage as I do not have a strong accent to cover up. My voice is pretty deep so I am told, my pronunciation is pretty clean, I write a little too so I have a good grasp of grammar and phonetics.
I have always done voices, accents and impersonations most of my life, I can sing fairly well and do some singers voices.
I have never tried anything like this before, but I think I have the voice I have for a reason, more than driving my wife nuts and amusing myself

Who knows perhaps a Brit living in the USA is just what you are looking for?
