Afua Jones

Afua R. Jones is an author, public speaker, mentor, entrepreneur, and woman of God. She defines herself as an encourager, who uplifts and empowers people to get comfortable in their own skin, define their true selves, explore their God-given talents, and meet their own spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. In addition to being a speaker for various Christian women’s groups, she is the author of the e-book 10 Fears That Keep Us from Being Our True Selves.

Jones currently resides in Manassas, Virginia, with her husband Derrick, her children—Derrick II, Jalen, Jayla, Naomi, Nyla, and Solomon—and dog, Soul. When she is not encouraging others, she is spending time with her family, taking long road trips, reading, reciting poetry, and practicing at the gun range.
