If an IKEA showroom could talk, you’d hear my voice: Hip, colorful, unique. You need something voiced, STAT. You value a seamless experience, with your concept meticulously brought to life. My reads are one of a kind - your script and concept are understood and delivered with attention to the context and audience. The experience and outcome is delightful - we’ll definitely feel like celebrating when the project is completed! A lot of vibes are coming from my pipes. My reads range from nice to strong to warm to authentic to knowledgeable to exciting to goofy to fearless to old to young to compelling to educational to dramatic to honest to engaging to easy-going to cold to bright. I connect to explainers and e-learning on a next-level level. I was an adult education, training, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion practitioner for major non-profit and corporate brands for many years, so I will bring your story to life authentically. I also REALLY understand kid speak, characters, and turning on a dime - I was a featured stage actor in my 20s for a professional regional children’s theater. My home audio studio is treated to produce excellent sound quality and is professionally equipped. And I have a studio dog - she's awesome. So many ways to make your project shine. Isn’t this fun so far?
I have been told my voice sounds like Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Robin Roberts, Randy Thomas, Demi Moore, Allison Janney, Annette Bening, and Mariska Hargitay. Characters: Bratty kid, middle-aged snob, elderly woman, evil queen, ditzy store manager, school boy, Midwest mom...and then some. Fun fact: I do a spot-on Jean Stapleton as Edith Bunker, and create many of my characters based on real friends and strangers I have met along the way.
As a member of the LGBT community, I am a proud diverse VO Artist - and I am a nationally certified LGBT Business Enterprise! I have deep experience in Adult Education & Leadership Development - during my corporate career, I created content, facilitated content, and oversaw teams of educators & training professionals. I am always happy to discuss editing an eLearning, Corporate Video content, etc. I also was a Diversity & Inclusion practitioner, partnering with leaders across the country for a Fortune 100 company - so I am happy to help edit, create, or revise content that has a D&I message.Read More
