Alex Rose Wiesel was born and raised in Del Mar, California. She attended the musical theatre conservatory at "AMDA" (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) and graduated from their Los Angeles campus in December of 2007. Then transfered to The New School University, New York, where she received a BFA in Theatre in the winter of 2009. Alex is a graduate student of IO West's Improv program in LA. She has done sketch/comedy work on shows, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, After Lately, Chelsea Lately and Showtime's House of Lies: Flight Club. Aside from TV shows & film, Alex can also be seen in a variety of commercials, from Casio Cameras, Southwest Airlines, PNC Bank, Big 10 Network and a Carl's Jr campaign, just to name a few. Growing up in San Diego Alex had a childhood full of youth, community and professional theatre preforming roles such as Cosette in “Les Miserables,” Sally in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” and “Belle” for Disney at the El Capitan. She has preformed in venues like The Lyceum San Diego, The La Jolla Playhouse, The El Capitan Theatre Hollywood, Universal Studios Hollywood and Legoland, CA.
