The 25-year-old Jacksonville, Arkansas native , Ally Washington, started freelancing for websites like CocoaFab, Entertainment Scoop, and more while balancing her day job in the field of education, as an elementary reading teacher. It was during this time that she interviewed Patti LaBelle, President Bill Clinton, Jacquees, Tank, Karen Civil, Taraji P. Henson, Tweet, Raheem DeVaughn and a list of others. She has most recently been named the Entertainment Editor of CocoaFab!, as well a contributor to radio heavyweight, Ebro of Hot 97. When she’s not contributing, you can catch her on her YouTube series, My Dope Monday. Each week, she shares a few minutes of inspiration that she has gained from life’s experiences, her mentors and biblical stories that push her to put things into perspective. Washington is a motivational speaker that travels to speak to multiple churches, youth centers and college panels. Washington is currently the assignment editor and social media reporter for TEGNA’s THV 11 News in Little Rock, where she is the host of Emmy-nominated morning show segment, Home Field Advantage. She has also lent her talents to the radio industry, beginning in 2013 at Streetz 101.1 (sister station to Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5), in Detroit with the #1 morning show on OhSoRadio, and now can be heard on the #1 urban radio station in the market, Power 92.3 as a gossip columnist on Monday- Friday with Jaid Taylor Live and her show, “The Buzz In The City” every Saturday morning from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
