I was never a fan of my voice. I've always thought my voice sounded too childish for my age or too immature. I can't stand the way my voice sounds on camera or even hear myself speak. Growing up I've heard people tell me my voice sounded annoying. Honestly, that hurts. I fear pulling out my phone or camera recording my two year old playing and just being silly and I always never ever say anything while recording. Because I hate playing back the video and hear myself. Now, It took me until towards the middle of last year that in order to overcome my hatred or fear of my own voice, why not make it into something fun? Or turn it into a career one day? I just want to listen to myself and accept the way it sounds. Not to mention I think it'll be fun and excited to do voice over of children or animation.
