Warm, comforting, pleasant voice. Educational, professional, and fun. I can sound reassuring, motherly, and nurturing, or friendly and approachable. I can do Southern and Texan accents, some French and French accents. At times my voice has been compared to Sigourney Weaver, Allison Janey, or Dixie Carter. I have done character voices, like a young boy, a snobbish older lady, and a gentle older lady. One of my favorite things, is to read stories, especially children's stories, where I can play with emotions and lots of character voices! I can sound happy, authoritative, sensual or frantic! I am pleasant and easy to work with, and follow direction well. I have had several careers. I was a Prosthetist (maker of artificial legs and arms) for 20 years; Lector (reader of Scriptures during church services) for 15 years; Flight Attendant with American Airlines (back when flying was a TREAT) for 7 years; typesetter and office manager of a printing company for 10 years. (Many of these were simultaneous, of course!) I have had great life experiences, and excellent training at Such A Voice for my voice over career. Reading books and singing are my favorite pastimes.
