I am an eLearning narration specialist here in Australia - it's a growing industry, and the demand for voices that keep the learner listening is increasing.
99% of our work now revolves around that industry, and our mantra "Record. Edit. Deliver" is something our clients appreciate - we don't just give them the raw audio, they don't have time to work on it !
As of November 2013, we now have a Rode NT2A condenser microphone, Cubase 7 for editing, iMac 27", and about to venture into the world of isolation booths !
In the past, well, let's see...In 2010, I was awarded the role of Narrator for the audio tour of "Titanic: The Artefacts Exhibition" that ran for almost a year at Melbourne Museum, Australia.
I also got to put my character voice to the test and was the winner of the Voices.com Simpons Sound Alike Challenge 2007 !
Anything from mid 20's to a more conservative late 30's - hard sell, soft sell - particularly when it comes to casual reads, and of course training/eLearning narration - my sweet spot.
Middle Aged, Young Adult
Documentaries, Educational, Radio, Telephone
Have been running my voice over company since 2000 and it's still going strong, providing voice overs all around Australia and beyond.
Have also worked at various radio stations, always at least in a production role and have brought that knowledge across to the voice over/audio production world - I'm my hardest taskmaster when it comes to reads :)
