My voice is fairly high-pitched, I think, but being in the Army and having to direct traffic in both an office environment and outdoors, I have a firm grasp on the much-desired 'command voice' and have no problems projecting. I've narrated equal opportunity observances in the past, and did well enough at my first one that the command sergeant major specifically requested me by name for another one the next year.
