Los Angeles, California, US
Bethanie, a Los Angeles based voice talent, can create memorable characters in the age range of 15-45. She has a kind, sincere and bright voice. Bethanie is accomplished at relaxed, conversational, believable soft sell attitudes such as friendly, calm, soothing, sentimental, folksy, storytelling, caring, trustworthy regular girl next door and down to earth but she also enjoys bright, lyrical and comedic character voices.
Bethanie can also be edgy, neurotic, animated and can also perform strong professional hard sell attitudes such as serious, newsy, authoritative, confident, energetic, enthusiastic and convincing. She takes direction well and is skilled at self-directing. Her experience directing her own actors and shows gives her the ability to listen to and interpret work objectively keeping in mind the energy and message the client wishes to convey.
Bethanie is a great choice for animation and character voices, video games, children's voices, accents, documentaries, audio books, training videos, internet and podcast presentations, radio and TV commercials, promos, trailers, corporate industrial narration, documentaries, telephone IVR and on hold.
Her celebrity voice matches range from Holly Hunter and Reese Witherspoon to Kelly McDonald and the comedic icon, Carol Kane.
Bethanie is represented by Portia Scott at Coast to Coast Talent Group in Los Angeles.

I have been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. My love for doing voice overs began very young when I began to mimic accents and voices from Monty Python, the Carol Burnett show, and of course, the colorful characters I met everyday living in the Carolinas.
I continued my vocal and actor training through college and graduate school and have now been in the LA area for over ten years. Since moving to LA, much of my time has been spent in music production working behind the scenes but I'm excited to be joining Voices.com to again pursue my own VO adventures.
