Chris Cote

Santa Monica, California, US

Deep, warm, powerful but real voice; I'm the hands-on father of three children, which has really helped me develop the believability for more personal sounding work. I've also spoken to rooms full of thousands of people and know what that should sound like. And of course, the man in between.
I was a Voice major in college with a BA in Music from UC Berkeley.
I sang in a rock band that was on Capitol records in the 1980s.
I've studied with several highly respected acting teachers in LA over the years, and taken commercial and voice acting classes as well. And I was a student of improv for many years and now teach it to non-pros.
I'm a 36-year member of Screen Actors Guild;
I have done theatre, film, TV, web series, Episodic TV announcing, documentary narration, character voices and announcing for video games, and over 100 on-camera commercials, about 50% of which were speaking roles or voice-over.
