Chris Lenois is a professional voice over artist and radio broadcaster with a combined 20 years’ experience. During the 1990s, Lenois was the in-house voice talent for PR Newswire’s Interactive Services division, located at the Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. His voice was heard thousands of times each day by Public Relations/Investor Relations professionals on their popular Stocks On-Call and Company News On-Call services, as well as proprietary systems developed for client companies such as Boeing, Ford Motor Company, Microsoft, the National Labor Relations Board, Subaru of America and Sun Microsystems. His clear tone and courteous delivery earned him the tongue-in-cheek moniker of “Mr. Speak-and-Spell” from his PRN colleagues. But he also applied his voice talents to artistic pursuits, including roles in two shorts by Icelation Filmworks: CROSS-HATCHING (baseball radio announcer) and JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR (Mike Delino). A move to New Orleans in the early 2000s further broadened Lenois’ voiceover experiences, doing everything from cartoon voices to documentary-style narrative for the educational media publisher, Syndistar. Lenois also began his career in radio in the Crescent City, doing a morning drive-time show on the legendary WWOZ-FM. This platform provided opportunities to broadcast live from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and other venues, as well as serve as emcee for a number of public events. Hurricane Katrina forced Lenois and his family to return to his native New England, where he eventually found a home on the Saga Communications-owned station, WKVT. As the host of the talk-magazine program “Green Mountain Mornings,” Lenois serves up news, information and community every weekday morning from 6:00-9:00am. He also continues to provide voice over talent for radio station clients as well as advertising agencies in the area.
