Education

Christina Yun hails from Mississauga, Ontario and received her Masters of Music in Voice Performance at San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Susanne Mentzer. She received her Bachelor of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University for Voice Performance with exceptional Canadian soprano Leslie Fagan.

Due to CoVID-19 and its complications on the future of singing in public spaces, Ms. Yun is currently developing recorded projects with a local collaborator in Mississauga, Ontario. She is an avid supporter of vocal physiology and its importance in the fundamentals of vocal pedagogy.

She has performed with the SFCM Opera and Musical Theater Department, Long Reach Opera Workshop, Halifax Summer Opera Festival, Centre of Opera Studies in Italy, and Wilfrid Laurier University. She has also performed as a soloist with Ben Kim's Musicians Without Borders Canada, the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra, and the Halton-Mississauga Youth Orchestra, among others.
