What the critics say:

2016 - Jeff - 1 in 3 - Now You Know Productions

“David Keogh is simply sublime in his portrayal of a man who is terrified he is about to lose everything. His believable performance so powerfully resonated with the audience we felt every tear and every heart cry”: Daniel White, Ventspleenuk.blogspot.uk
“David portrayed Jeff’s anxiety and pent-up rage ... with a quiet, twisting intensity – he really held the stage” - Zeal Senior - Fringe Review ·

“David… journeys through a range of emotions in front of our eyes – disbelief, terror, anger, optimism, despair – often without saying a single word; his body language alone speaks volumes. – London Theatre One

“Both actors portray a completely believable bond and the performances are exceptionally strong. Keogh especially proves to be outstanding during the more emotional scenes, and his performance here is incredibly touching” – The Theatre Tourist

“There were fantastic performances from David Keogh…” - The Ginger Wig

Feedback on David J. Keogh:

“Casting David Keogh as King Cadwallon in the film Whiteblade was without doubt one of the best decisions made by the production team. He threw himself into the production and character with great enthusiasm and skill. His research and characterisation were exemplary and his acting top quality. He was extremely easy to work with as an actor and took on extra jobs on the production gladly and without complaint. As a producer and director I can highly recommend David as an actor and team player and he was a great asset to the production. As an actor myself, David made the rest of us raise our game and he inspired us all to give our best performances. I cannot recommend him highly enough.”

Mark Hindman-Smith, Writer, Executive Producer and Director, Whiteblade

“Working with David Keogh is always a pleasure, whilst on set he is always committed to boost the project in anyway possible, giving 110%, he goes the extra mile to make sure the character is unforgettable! We here at Rodwood films will defiantly be working with him again in the future”

Scott Rodrigues, Director, Yolo, Rodwood Films

“Working with David was an absolute pleasure. He is a true professional, even when working under pressured conditions he delivered a fantastic performance every night. David is extremely talented, a pleasure to work with, grounded and honest in his performances and as a person. I know whom ever he works with in the future will no doubt have the great experience I did.”

Seth Jones, Creative Director, Clouds Of Grey, Moors Theatre

“I have spent 10 days on set with David. I find him incredibly hard working and dedicated to his art. His enthusiasm is matched by his ability. His outstanding performance as Cadwallon King of the Britons was exactly as we envisaged it. He managed to capture the character and execute it perfectly. I see big things ahead for David and wish him a great deal of luck with his endeavours.”

David Macey, Producer, Whiteblade, Ravenwolf Productions

"David Keogh is a committed actor who I very much enjoyed developing a character with. He strikes the balance between bringing something new to a character whilst still trusting and collaborating with the director".

Sammy Paul, Writer & Director, Septem, Chewing Sand Pictures

“David is both an incredible actor and a wonderful man, a real pleasure to work with. He is able to portray a wide range of complex emotions with what appears to be great ease, maintaining a constant naturalistic and believable performance. He is a great collaborator, taking direction incredibly well but also suggesting ideas and developing his character. Any production would be lucky to have David on board”.

Josh Pocock, Writer & Producer, Penitence, Triple J Productions

“David's fantastic - it's rare I work with actors so committed, so able to understand and take minimalistic directions on board. David's real world experience means he's accessible - He knows how to play real characters, because he has been a real person.”

Jack Spring, Director, The Road To Dewsbury, Blue Light Media

“David's a late starter in acting terms, but the richness of talent and hard work he puts into all his performances makes him someone I'd consider for many roles - it also doesn't hurt that he's a real sweetie on set and great to have around”

Jane Foster, Director/Producer, Unify, 23 Films

“The first thing that struck me about David was his passion, whilst offering up suggestions he is also very open to feedback and criticism... The character he plays in my screenplay is a real nasty piece of work and it is a testament to David's ability the ease with which he 'became' the character so convincingly.”

Leon Odiete, Writer/Director, None But Myself, Solaris2

“Having directed David in his stage debut I was struck by how easily he responded to direction. Not only in the sense that he listened and repeated, but that he brought great depth to the role, which was testament to his excellent intuition. His creativity and dedication to the craft made him a pleasure to work with, and I hope for the day I work with him in a director/ actor relationship again”.

Jonathan Parsonage, Director, Driving me Crazy

“Working with David Keogh was an absolute pleasure, he is a very professional and hardworking person, and constantly tried to develop his character …and was able to take direction very well straight away. Overall he was very respectful to all of the crew and was a delight to be around.”

Jack Stonely, Writer/Director, Penitence
