Deborah Nolan

Deborah Nolan has a pleasant, well-modulated, dialect-free speaking voice that falls within an alto range; sometimes it has been described as sultry. Deborah can sing either alto or soprano parts and was born with an excellent ear that allows her to easily reproduce accents and dialects. She knows the International Phonetic Alphabet and can translate material into any dialect, reproducing it flawlessly.

Age-specific and "character" voices are Deborah's other specialty, as she enjoys discovering and crafting unique vocal signatures. Deborah can quickly transition between as many as eight different characters engaged in a simultaneous conversation - each with his/her own combination of dialect, pitch, volume, speed, maturity, socio-economic class, and speaking style. This ability is especially effective when bringing a work of fiction to life.

She is classically trained and has BFA and MFA degrees in acting.

Voice Over Clients

Deborah has been out of the voice-over game for several years as she left the entertainment industry to become a college professor and then an attorney. She has retired from the law (having never really enjoyed it) and has returned to teaching. With the Internet and modern technology, she is excited to return to voice-over work and is especially looking forward to opportunities that will allow her to create character voices.

So, although she cannot provide a current client list at this time, she hopes to rectify that situation soon!
