Darcie Flansburg got her first taste of theater in the fourth grade playing Tessy in a school production of the musical “Annie.” Since then she has been able to experience everything from new musical workshops to traditional Shakespeare to the avant-garde. Some of her favorite roles include Adriana in “A Comedy of Errors," Sir Andrew Aguecheek in "12th Night," Ann Putnam/Martha Corey/Sarah Good in "The Crucible," and Phoebe in "As You Like It." She has also taken many roles off stage as costumer, stagemanager, production manager, assistant director, director and producer in and around the Inland Empire. In hopes of filling a small niche in the Redlands theater community, she founded a troupe with Shakespeare scholar and fellow University of Redlands graduate Yvonne Flack. The mission of the Redlands Regional Players is to take classic texts and adapt them for modern audiences.
