As a talented and versatile voice actor/producer, David’s credits include voice-overs for documentaries, audio books, radio & TV commercials, corporate & industrial videos and character voices for film & video.
For over 30-years David was a radio personality, talk show host, production director and writer for several mid west stations. He spent 17-years in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market, (his hometown) including many years at WCCO Radio, a 50,000-watt clear channel station.
It was there that David’s freelance voice-over career took off. He was a regular voice talent for American Forces Radio & Television public service announcements, several national and regional commercials and an on-camera spokesperson/voice talent for product demonstration videos produced at Marketing by Video of Eden Prairie, MN. He was also the voice on their “Minnesota Star Cities” series.
While living in Montana, David’s voice was heard on numerous radio/TV commercials, promotional announcements and direct response campaigns produced by Production West, Spotlight Productions, Montana Video Productions, Jester Sound & Video, KTVQ-TV, KULR-TV, and Fisher Communications in Billings. His voice-over work included a documentary for the Custer Battlefield Interpretive Center written and produced by Production West. Other productions included nature and wildlife documentaries, such as the re-introduction of wolves in Yellowstone Park.
David, who now lives in Tucson, continues to do documentary and commercial voice work on a regular basis for WAM Pictures and Michael Doorman Films, as well as commercials for several advertising agencies. He was recently chosen as one of the pre-recorded voice talent presenters for the Arizona ADDY Awards..
David has a wide range of distinctive voice styles, making him the perfect choice for a variety of projects. His approach is that of an actor. He also does a myriad of character voices, dialects and impressions. Take a few moments to listen to this national voice talent, then call David for your next project.
