When we still had a houseline, telemarketers would call the house number & I would answer. Upon hearing my voice, s/he asked to speak with one of my parents. Sometimes it annoyed me, being way past 18 years old, but then, I got ideas about how to change my voice: trying out different TV & cartoon characters to hear which one I was better suited for. One of my singing coaches said my voice was a unusual because it sounded so young, even as I got older, as though time to leave my voice alone.
