I have a resonant distinctive voice which I am told people find easy to understand and very soothing to listen to. I think my experience in having worked in many genres of voice overs from studio commercials to advertising to serious documentary, magazine and straight news work highlights my versatility as a talent. My voice has been used in programs to Asia, Africa, and many other parts of the world that take UN English programs including the Middle East and Europe, so my accent should not be a problem.

I have been a broadcast journalist for over 30 years. I worked in the Caribbean (Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago as a Radio and Television broadcaster for some 8 years before leaving for the USA to work in the Radio Service of the United Nations as a writer, producer, narrator of weekly documentary, magazine and new magazine programs. I have done a large number of interviews with heads of State and Government, Ministers, public personalities, and politicians , environmentalists, scientists, human rights activists among others during my 19 years in the UN Radio Service. I produced the first and only six-part series on the Law of the Sea and the first programs on the issues of sustainable development and climate change. I also acted as Spokesperson for the UN Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea for almost 4 years on my first mission assignment in the field as head of Public Information. I have also done voice over narrations for UN Television documentaries and great deal of commercial voice overs for advertisers.
While working at the United Nations as an expatriate employee I could not really join local associations but plan to do so in the near future since I am now a resident of the United States.
I believe that my wide and varied experience as a broadcaster will bring a certain level of professionalism and quality to whatever project I am involved with.
