My "sweet spot" as a voiceover talent is "believable and sincere." I enjoy working with clients to achieve the "sound" that they want to round out their jobs, whether for video or internet narration, commercials, documentaries, or business, commercial, or industrial work.

GUY ARLEDGE is a voiceover talent whose background in the industry has given him an unusual perspective – that of a professional who has worked as an actor as well as in a multitude of roles on the other side of the camera or microphone. This broad base of experience allows him to readily relate to what a producer or client wants and to successfully deliver compelling product.
Guy’s work experience as a talent includes on-camera commercial and industrial work, as well as voiceover for radio, television, and industrial clients. He has also worked as primary client contact for advertising campaigns that carried multi-million dollar annual budgets, working with some of the largest advertising agencies in the United States.
His introduction to broadcasting came about in a somewhat unusual way. While a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a fraternity brother passed along a tip that the local NBC affiliate in Atlanta had an opening for a disc jockey for the FM station. Despite having no broadcasting experience (and somewhat to his surprise), he was hired and immediately put to work.
After earning his degree, Arledge spent over a decade in advertising management and public relations work with BellSouth Corporation, where he managed business-to-business and corporate advertising. In that role he produced advertising with some of America’s top talent, including Academy Award and Emmy winning actors. During this time he continued to record radio and industrial voiceover work, and was also hired for on-camera television jobs.
After BellSouth, Arledge worked as Director of Communications for CARE, the overseas relief and development agency. While with CARE he secured pro-bono support from McCann Erickson advertising agency and produced CARE’s first public service television spots in over 40 years, featuring Whoopi Goldberg.
Now focusing on talent work, Arledge’s client list includes the Chicago Cubs, CIGNA Healthcare, BellSouth Corporation, AT&T, the Ronald McDonald House, General Electric, and Wells Real Estate Funds, to name a few. He has an in-home studio that allows him to record, edit, and send creative material to clients anywhere in the world.

After many months of allowing our internal regional leaders to record their own voiceovers, we realized that we could achieve greater quality, greater professionalism and greater consistency with a single professional spokesperson -- we found that in Guy Arledge. Guy now serves as the "Voice of Wells" for all of our voiceover recordings, giving us a consistent branded voice in our market.Wells Real Estate Funds, Atlanta, Georgia
Chief Marketing Officer
I recently had the privilege to work with Guy Arledge on a project that required that "rich tone" voiceover delivery. Guy was very thorough, recording multiple takes in our studio to make sure we were totally satisfied...and later, he even provided an additional take recorded in his home studio. I was so impressed with the recording he did at his studio, that I used that take for the final edit!Projections, Inc.
Guy has a great voice and the convenience he provides by being able to record at his studio and email the files on short notice will certainly lead to more work in the future.
Vice President of Multimedia Operations
In creating our children's health video, Guy provided more than a clear and sympathetic voice. He offered professional direction and enormous patience. We were novices in communicating through video, but Guy respected our mission and our commitment to make it as professional as possible.Voices for Georgia's Children
Guy is exceptionally great to work with and he always produces quality material in a timely manner. He has a key understanding of branding through broadcasting and works well with his clients to ensure that he delivers nothing but the best. I highly recommend Guy for any broadcast based endeavor.SmartFolks LLC
Director of Marketing
Professional, punctual, talented and flexible, Guy's voice and work speak for themselves, but I'd like to add a just little bit: I worked with him on a short timeline, on sensitive scripts that called for careful attention to detail and an intense voiceover session. Guy met the challenge with resolve and exceeded my expectations. Start to finish, he was just as concerned with providing an excellent final product as I was. Guy's work is focused, nuanced, dynamic when necessary, and exceptionally open to direction.Allan Hutchinson, producer/writer
Top-notch talent, an unwavering work ethic, and a genuine desire to get the job done right make Guy a real pleasure to work with. I would hire him again with no hesitation whatsoever, and look forward to the chance to do so.
