About

Overview

I have dynamic range of pitches and tones, but I am best known for my deep, calm, cool/sexy, collected voice used in promotional materials. I am also a veteran speech giver and teacher, so I can shift to a more impassioned tone for certain performances. I am also very well-known for my dialect and accent work.

My live performance abilities have landed me comedy gigs all over the world, including opening for comedian and host of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver.

Experience

Ever since I first saw Robin Williams' Genie in Disney's 'Aladdin' I knew how I wanted to use my voice and my love of characters. From performing stand up comedy for seven years to receiving my BA in Radio, TV, and Film from Northwestern University in 2013 and hosting radio shows and podcasts, I have sought to use my voice and my range of accents, pitches, tones, and pathos to bring stories to life. In 2012 I directed the audio-heavy 'Talk Radio' by playwright Eric Bogosian and it was that experience that I really helped me understand Voice Over better, for we created faux promotional materials to advertise the show and use in the production. I contributed my voice to several ads, having already been dubbing for films before that experience. I have recently furthered my professional VO education under the tutelage of veteran casting director/producer Ed Lewis who's Shut Up and Talk: Cracking the Voice Over Code.
