A promising newcomer to the voice acting industry, Heather Nyhart's 23 years of vocal performance experience proves she is no stranger to pairing solid vocal technique with an empathetic spirit. Since childhood she honed her technique as a vocalist in a wide variety of genres, from the round, dynamic tones of classical music to the bold, soulful melodies of blues rock. Often performing these genres on stage, she has learned to connect and emote through the material given her in an authentic way. Outside of music she has always gravitated towards interests that utilize her voice. A self-professed linguaphile, she has studied Mandarin, Russian, Latin, and Spanish, and received accolades from her professors ("You sound like a native!"). She even won a university scholarship from Arizona State University's Language and Literature program for being top of her class as a new language learner. She credits her ear for music for aiding in effortlessly picking up tones and sounds foreign to her non-regional North American tongue. Likewise, she credits her love of language for the drive to seek the nuance and true meaning behind the words she speaks. Her astute intellect (which gained her access into Mensa) and playful but empathetic spirit (an ENFP according to Myers-Briggs Jung personality typing) allows her to approach your material with intuitive perception. Ultimately hoping to do voice acting work in animation, Heather welcomes any opportunity to hone this new avenue of vocal technique by helping you see your vision become reality with the final addition of voice over. [Heather currently uses her voice to help distressed citizens as a 911 operator. In her free time you can find her singing/playing bass & keys in Phoenix-based progressive folk-rock band Ozark Pappy, or spending time with her two blue-eyes babes (one a scrappy Siberian Husky, the other her fit artist husband).]
