I have been told for many years by numerous people throughout my life that Im "good at impressions" or "do a great (insert character name here)" or that I have a talent for mimicry. I am always being told I should get into voice acting. My desire for that is not different than any ither person's for any other work they do, it being personally gratifying and ginancially rewarding. My fear has slways been it would be one not the other or neither and result in ruining the magic of voice acting for me.
I enjoy it when people, especially children get all smiles and laugh when they hear me replicate a voice of a character they know and love.
Voices I do are Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward, Gary, Homer Simpson, Grandpa Abraham Simpson, Krusty The Clown, Barney, Wayland Smithers, Mr. Burns, Stewie and Peter Griffin, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Winney the Pooh, Kermit The Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Rowlf The Dog, Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster, Pee-Wee Herman, Golem/Schmiegel (Lord Of The Rings), Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Donkey from Shrek, Skeletor from He-Man as well as other characters or people known, loved and often imitated like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I would love to colaborate and create original voices too.
I have never thought I could viably get into this business but now with sites like this and technology available to just about anyone it seems more possible and less constrained by life and financial overhead.
