JD Meyer started working in the film industry in 2005. JD has worked alongside several actors as their double including Seann William Scott, Ryan Phillippe, Eric Roberts, Dennis Quaid to name a few. JD has impressed every director, casting director, crew member he has ever worked with by his hard work ethic and very reliable no quit attitude. JD believes in this business it’s about being dependable, trustworthy and the ability for someone to take direction well to suceceed. JD understands the fast pace and turn around times of productions and was always there early and ready to perform.
Throughout the years JD has been told by many he has a deep radio voice and should try voice over work. But it was not until JD had the honor of working with and alongside the great Clint Eastwood when he really took it to heart. Mr. Eastwood one night on set complimented JD on his voice. JD never forgot that moment and it still encourages him everyday.
Besides his voice over work, JD has had a mix of larger and smaller roles in feature films, independent films, tv shows, and documentaries.
JD enjoyed the trust of many casting directors and directors over the years and was frequently asked to do other projects with them. JD will strive to do the same with you for your next voice over project.
