I have been in the performance industry as long as I can remember, I have been narrating audio books on and off for the last 2 years, I have also spent a year working on ships (hence the break in work)

I had the great pleasure of working with Jack on the audiobook of The Corridor. This was a fantastic experience. Jack was not only a complete professional who worked dilligently to the agreed timescales, he was also a brilliant voice actor who brought my words and characters to life. I was bowled over by how well he interpreted and understood my words and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to his work. He has a great wit and intelligence which come out in his characters and has a real talent for comic timing and creating distinctive voices. Jack was really responsive to my thoughts and was such a delight to work with. I really hope to work with Jack again in the future.

My name is Debbie McGowan, and I’m an author of fiction. I’m a bit of a genre hopper –
contemporary, historical, romance, fantasy – and it’s rare to find an audiobook
narrator/producer who’s up to hopping those genres with me.
Jack Hardman is such a narrator, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working on two
audiobook projects. I needed someone with a great sense of pace and comedic timing but
also a sensitivity to the different characters’ foibles.
I received half a dozen auditions from potential narrators. Some were not that great, a
couple were impressive, but only one was exceptional. I offered Jack the contract, and he
accepted. From there, he only impressed me more.
Jack was professional and courteous throughout the production process. He asked
pertinent questions, checked that his reading of the manuscript was in line with my
intentions and left me in no doubt that I could trust him to do a great job. Ultimately, he
delivered the project in good time and to a high standard. Above all, he treated my work
with respect.
Jack Hardman made the experience of producting an audiobook a very positive one, and I
look forward to working with him again. I commend him without hesitation.
