I co-host the Weekly Podcast "The Movie Guys", a comedy show all about movies! You can listen to it on iTunes and SoundCloud. I am a Second City, Improv Olympic and iO West Alumni with a strong background in comedy. I am also one third of the singing/comedy group called The Boobé Sisters. We perform 60's styled girl group songs with edgy satyrical lyrics and killer three part harmonies. We were on America's Got Talent and The Gong Show! My husband and I built our own private podcasting and voice over studio called The Admiral's Club that is used for actor demo reels, VO sessions and various podcasts. I would describe my voice as friendly, conversational and natural but I have also been hired to do professional, corporate voice over work and voice work for mobile apps and telephone answering services (telephany). Most recently I played Violet in the musical "9 to 5" at the Glendale Centre Theatre and Rhetta in the musical "Pump Boys & Dinettes" at Sierra Repertory Theatre in Northern, CA. Past credits: Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl", Downey Civic Light Opera, LA; Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors", Glendale Centre Theatre, LA; Gilda Radner in "Bunny, Bunny: Gilda Radner, A Sort of Romantic Comedy, Gilda's Club, WNY; Lady Jacqueline in "Me & My Girl", Glendale Centre Theatre, LA; Voice of "Nessie The Sea Monster" for Navy Pier, Chicago; National Tour of "Schoolhouse Rock Live!"; Tribulation Force & Left Behind Audio Book Series, Chicago. Some of my favorite voices/characters are: Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors - a ditzy blonde with a heart of gold and I can sing in that voice as well. Mrs. Poole - a Minnesotan accent with a lovable quality and Sister Robert Anne - a tough, no nonsense, Hobeken and New York City accent and I can sing in that voice as well.
