Kevin Andrew Heslop

I posses a warm, rich, low- to mid-range voice capable of subtlety, emotional extremes, a variety of accents, and the mimicry of various poets, including the rolling ostentation of Dylan Thomas, the sorrowful and volcanic Langston Hughes, the pained Randall Jarrell, the enunciative and polished W.H. Auden, the somewhat nasal, yet distinguished, T.S. Eliot, and the smooth, sardonic Ezra Pound. In addition to my fluency as a reader of poetry, capacity as an actor, and hardwiring as a percussionist, my strength is in conveying emotional force and a deep understanding of and familiarity with the English language at a wide range of tempos, intonations, and pitches.
