Experience

There's a good chance you've heard Lana's voice somewhere in the world. Perhaps on the Radio, TV, while you're on hold, in a film and maybe in an online game fighting your battles!! Lana was born in Bermuda to a Northern Irish mother and Bermudian father. She lived and worked as an actress (voice, theatre & film) in Canada, Boston, London and Los Angeles before landing in Charlottesville. She attributes her unique voice rich with accents, tones and energy to the influences of all the wonderful places she lived. She started out in radio commercials before landing the job of automated voice and spokesperson for Cable & Wireless, a global telecommunications company for whom she voiced a pre-paid calling card. Her most exciting job was as two characters in the Bioware game "NeverWinter Nights". In addition to commercials, Lana recorded telephone greeting systems, voice overs for film, audio books and had the unique experience of having her voice commissioned for a private home security system
