Mildred realized she was on to something when clients began requesting her voice over that of the typical voiceover talent, regardless of fee. From 2000 to 2006, Mildred was a Principal at the New York City design firm Centerdesign, and Mildred sometimes provided rough voiceover for corporate multimedia projects while they were still in draft form.

However, when clients heard the drafts, they typically requested that Mildred’s voice be the final voice — despite the higher fee that the voice of the company’s Principal’s demanded; clients simply said it didn't matter. Further, clients often commented that their clients would often ask, "Whose voice is that?"

In 2004, Mildred provided award-winning voiceover for two animated characters — Hemo and the little girl — in Centerdesign’s 3D animated Web movie, “Hemo's Classroom Adventure”, which was recognized with the Distinction of Excellence in Programs: Communications Award by the National Hemophilia Association.

In late 2006, Mildred joined Sony Electronics as Director of Corporate Marketing, Web Services. Her duties there included enlisting the best 3D animation and corporate e-learning agencies for online interactive and multimedia projects she was producing. Many of these have been recognized with major industry awards, including Official Honoree, 2009 Webby Awards for the 3D Web video, “Omarion and Rolly – Face Off”, featuring Grammy-nominated singer/dancer Omarion along with animation of Sony's Rolly product, 2008 W3 Award for the 3D Web video, “Essence of VAIO”, and 2008 Webby Awards Nominee for the 3D Web video, “Sony Alpha A700”.

In 2009 Mildred became the mother of a darling baby girl which expedited her decision to launch her voiceover career full-time. Her schedule provides her the flexibility to spend the time she desires with her daughter.

Having already experienced demand for her voice — and therefore being confident in her abilities — this was an easy decision for Mildred and has proven to be a very worthwhile one.

Mildred has studied with Rodney Saulsberry in Los Angeles, Susan Berkley in New York and Dru Scott in San Diego.

Mildred’s passion, drive, and considerable talent make her voiceover work highly desirable. Having been on both the project production and the talent hiring sides — and now on the talent provider side — Mildred has experience with and respect for the voiceover profession that is rare to find in one person.
