My first voice-over gig was as a Shaker lady in small, good Indie film called Upstate. Then I was tagged to read a bio of Bob Marley. (My submission was enthusiastically accepted but I believe the project was canceled.) Among other gigs, I did a squawky Simpsons-like character for a student animated film, have had several interesting parts in a series of Doctor Who episodes, and recorded an odd, angst-ridden poem for a short animated film currently in production.
I've also appeared on stage, screen and t.v.
Also, as a copywriter and fiction writer, I always read my stuff out loud before submitting it. Words need to get up off the page to come to life.
I studied acting at HB and various NYC workshops, then moved into voice acting at the Edge Studio, and most recently studied with Johnny Heller.
I'm currently working on improv.
