My voice generally grabs people’s attention when I speak. It is resonant, but can be playful at times with lots of inflection. It is a naturally deep tone, often described as a radio voice or DJ; also great for narration or audiobook. It is known as smooth and I do a pretty good Movie Phone voice. The first time I heard this term in describing my voice was last year - people say it has a certain “timber” to it.
I sing in my church choir, so it helps keep my vocal chords loose. Grateful for that.

Hello and thanks for visiting my profile! My name is Mark.
I have taken 2 classes, one at VoiceOne in San Francisco. At the end of my first weekend class, when the instructor discovered it was my first time (revealed by a fellow professional student), his eyes became wide and he says, “You did really good!”
My first gig as an amateur was an educational CD-ROM which was used across 5 or more CDU schools. More recently (2017), I was selected by UPS over other professional talent to record their online course for the global sales organization. That was 4 days work from my home, including edits. I can provide a sample upon request.
I work for cheap (just kidding!). It’s funny when I look back at my early childhood; even then I knew that voiceover was something I loved. I spent a lot of my time watching TV to mimick commercials in my own delivery and voice. I was then and still am today fascinated by the art of voice.
It is almost a literal lifelong dream of mine to work in voiceover. Thank you in advance for this opportunity.
