I'm a bit of a perfectionist who loves everything pertaining to sound and voice. My background in English literature (I hold a degree in English Language & Literature) enables me to appreciate the subtle nuances of meaning of each word and also makes me aware of the finer aspects of human speech, such as accent / stress, phonemes of various accents, intonation, etc
I believe my voice has enough range and character to take on a variety of emotions and tones. My voice has been described as both warm and authoritative, feminine and soft, "mysterious and soothing".
I can speak in English Received Pronunciation (RP) as well as General Indian English (G.I.E.)., Hindi, Malayalam , etc. My English has been influenced by both British and American accents as well as some local flavors of English. That said, I'm good at assuming accents as I speak and perform.
