Rose was born into a huge, boisterous Irish family. She learned at a very young age the art of interruption. Playing creatively in skits and local musical plays, with an older brother, brought joy and theatricality into her life. After completing an education in Speech Pathology and Audiology, Rose finally figured out how to listen... really listen! As a Speech Therapist in the public schools for more than a dozen years, Rose organized her clinical skills with precision and compassion. A great fondness for playing with children of all ages, encouraging smiles, confidence, and clearer self-expression provided Rose with a fulfilling career. A second career opportunity fit very well with her nurturing nature as she established her own long time business as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Rose proudly became a Teacher and Chair of the Washington State Board of Massage. Her education gave her the ability to listen, her many long years of work, talking to and comforting many, evolved into a dream. All her Professional and Clinical Training in Speech Pathology and Massage prepared Rose for her leap into Voice Over. As a teacher in public and private schools, Chair and Board Member, or volunteer for local and national committees Rose can comfortably and competently perform at many levels.
