Samuel DEFRANCESCHI

Overview

Sam DeFranceschi specializes in various voices in English, French and Spanish. Born and raised in Boston, he earned a BA in Global Studies from The University of California, Santa Barbara. Sam conceived his career in voice over in 1996 studying performing arts at Brookline High School in Massachusetts. Through the teachings of former West Housemaster Iain Ryrie, he learned the true potential of his voice discipline and his creative improvisation. At UCSB he wrote and produced a radio news program for local KCSB University radio about the interactions of students and local Latino communities.

Sam spent one year in Barcelona studying political science and another year in Bordeaux learning the French language and hospitality industry. His understanding of American, French and Spanish cultures and languages make him an ideal voice over artist for a wide variety of American and International voices.

Prior to his career in voice over, he was the personal assistant to cosmetics giant, Francios Nars. He lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn where he has a home office for real estate and even a private studio for recording voice over. Sam also has a professional audio studio in Manhattan at Rockefeller Center where he master's his VO gigs for clientele all over the world.
