Finished college with degree in Psychology from the Univ of West Florida. Attended college on an athletic scholarship (baseball). Since then, have primarily worked in Mortgage Banking and still do so. I work part time as a lender and part time as a real estate investor. I have ZERO experience with voice over work. It's been a 'latent' interest of mine since my early 20's. I've been told many times that I have a 'nice' or 'good' voice. A good portion of my work is done over the phone with agents, title companies, clients, etc... I honestly believe my voice and demeanor have aided me in my sales (trust) over the years. No intention.. but I think (believe) that people tend to trust me very quickly b/c of my voice and sincerity when speaking with them about their finances, credit situation... or even in mere social settings. I think it stems innately from just wanting to be honest with people... that is the key. Have a distinctive voice or one that stands out is mere luck.. (I guess). I work from home and am self-employed... so I'm very flexible with schedules. At this point... just looking to try any type of voice over work so I can gain experience. Pay is not important... just want to find an avenue to get started and hopefully 'earn' my way into the industry some how. Thank you kindly.
