I started reading instruction manuals on cassette since I was a small boy. In this manner, I taught myself how to articulate words, put feeling and emotion in my words and to pause and breathe without breaking up the continuity of the material. Today, I read material for my church all the time. There were times when we had to recite a monologue, which I received numerous compliments on. I also have done dramatic readings of song lyrics set to music.
