Sharon Menefee

Theater work at the Thistle Dew Theater in Sacramento California has given me the opportunity to perform a full range of characters, including an elderly wise 'Mother Willow' type character, a sultry/villainess-like Princess Aura (Flash Gordon), swanky East Coast socialite named Caroline, a plucky irritable parrot, and most notably a Persian Red Point cat with a French accent. I have been cast most often in roles where I play the mischief, the persuader, the cheeky high-energy girl next-door. My voice has been described as crystalline, clear, flirtatious, with a dip into dangerous and rumbling (I am currently acting as mountain lion antagonist in an ongoing production).
