Although her talent and passion for performance emerged naturally at a young age, Shera honed her skills by attending Music school at Selkirk College in Nelson B.C. There, she earned her music diploma in 2007. Following this, she performed regularly in Canada and captivated audiences with her unabashed love for lyrics, performance and music.
Since 2007, Shera has performed in and organized many benefit concerts, played music on live television for Hockey Day In Canada (hosted by Don Cherry and Ron MacLean), opened shows for Sam Bradley and Jeremy Fisher, written a jingle for national radio and received airplay on CBC for her song “Seafoam Green”. Additionally, she received a Columbia Basin Touring grant and hosted the songwriters radio show “Sagacious Song-writers” in 2007 at Kootenay Co-op Radio.
