Biographie
Manuel Sinor a lancé sa carrière d'acteur professionnel en 2007 au Canada. La presse tant anglophone que francophone y salua régulièrement ses rôles au théâtre, et en 2015 il fut invité comme membre du jury des Canadian Screen Awards. Son travail dans le registre dramatique amena Michael Jorgensen, lauréat de plusieurs Emmy® Awards, à saluer « l'expertise de son jeu et son sens narratif ». Touché quant à lui par sa fibre comique, Bryan Singer lui offrit une apparition flamboyante dans X-Men: Apocalypse. Né au Congo et élevé en France, Sinor fut bien avant d'être acteur matelot à Djibouti et cadre chez IBM en Irlande. Il détient aussi un doctorat en linguistique, qui l'aide encore souvent dans son jeu en français, anglais et allemand–ainsi que dans son travail parallèle d'auteur-compositeur-interprète.
Biography
Manuel Sinor's acting career began in Canada, where his theatre roles were repeatedly greeted by the press and where he sat on the jury of the Canadian Screen Awards in 2015. His dramatic work led multiple Emmy® Award winner Michael Jorgensen to talk of an "adept acting ability and sense of story", and his comedic abilities earned him the chance of a flamboyant appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse. Sinor was born in the Congo and bred in France. He has been an IBM executive in Ireland and a French Navy sailor in Djibouti. He also holds a PhD in linguistics, which still serves his acting in French, English and German–and his side work as a singer-songwriter.
