Stuart McCowan

Stuart was born in Fife, Scotland in 1972 and from an early age loved playing around with voice and sound. After graduating with a degree in Radio & Television Broadcasting, Stuart was immediately presenting on air with a Scottish local radio station. His voice skills were refined during his 3 years with the BBC in Glasgow before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Stuart made a career switch after 4 years on local commercial radio as a presenter and commercial voice artist to working in film post production sound with Skywalker Sound where occasionally he lent his voice to productions.

Stuart has won a Primetime Emmy, a BAFTA and two MPSE Golden Reel Awards for his sound work along with numerous other nominations.

Stuart’s voice has been described as intelligent, fun and educated.

Since 2013, Stuart now lives in the Greater London area.
