The dominant features would be mild and deep-reaching, with a touch of mystery to it. It's dark and soothing, but it can be lively and vivacious, as well - packed with radiant joie-de-vivre and interspersed with cheerful sparks, when necessary. It's strong coffee with milk, if you like, with a velvety feel to it, but it can also be a fizzy lemonade, if you like. Both adults and children alike, will take to its natural flow, its mellifluous, cordial notes. Kids will love its friendly, but slightly rollicking and frisky, funny, entertaining character, with some curves and rounds that will keep their ears pricked up, while adults will appreciate its ability to enthrall, inspire and move them with genuine emotional force and passion that will strike the right notes with them and make sure the message (of the story) is reinforced and that is reaches its destination. My voice will make the audience laugh or cry, send a chill down their spine or inspire, embolden and encourage, but it will never leave them indifferent or bored stiff (unless a prescribed role requires this:). It could be a narrative depicting war-time events, a recreation of some destructive natural disaster, some historical drama or any story unraveling disturbing events - perhaps some dark mystery crime series.
It could also be anything of educational nature - a science series. This is when my ability to articulate and to speak with authority and persuasion will come into the picture. Whether it be formal or laid-back setting, my voice will do its job by adapting to the needs and requirements of each individual assignment, delivering the intended message and contributing to the success of your project.
