When I was 12 years old, a producer at the local radio station took note of my voice and asked me to read an on-air public service announcement. I knew then that it wouldn't be the last time. In the decades since, I've done plenty of other radio spots -- but in many different capacities. I worked as a broadcast journalist for 20 years -- hosting several radio programs at the local, regional and national levels, narrating documentaries for film, television and radio, and voicing internet training videos and corporate presentations. My radio experience involved news-reading and advanced production skills as well. In addition, I have a master's degree in contemporary theatre and my acting experience has helped me to give the appropriate depth to any script. I also studied music and voice at the university level. My sound has been described as warm, friendly and soothing, but my diverse experiences have helped me to be versatile. If you need sultry and smooth, I can deliver. If you need soft and engaging, I can do that too. Whether you're looking for friendly and conversational, or upbeat and informative, I am able to effectively communicate your message. I also love to take direction, and welcome your feedback. I won't be satisfied with the final product until you are. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. I look forward to working with you!
