Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US
Ever since working at my high school TV station I've wanted to be a journalist. My background is TV and Radio News Broadcasting, but in recent years I have expanded my interests into PR/Marketing, Social Media, and Event Planning as well.
My professional career started in the small town of New Bern, NC, where I was a morning show producer. I worked my way up to general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. However, the city was calling my name, so I moved to Milwaukee to become a special projects producer at TODAY'S TMJ4. I got to work on a variety of stories: From investigative, to health, to features. I also field produced during big events, and did some line producing as well. You also may have heard me on 620 AM radio on Saturday mornings for years, where I still continue to fill-in as a freelancer.
In my spare time I like to read, write, participate in community theater, run/bike by the lake, volunteer, see live music, watch/play sports, socialize with friends, and hang with my doggie, Princess.

Coming from TV and radio news, I know how to get results... quickly! I have written, produced, and edited my own stories, but I am also open to reading scripts that are pre-written. As both a TV/radio broadcaster and stage actress, I have used my voice to get stories and characters across to audiences for years. I know how to connect with people, and make them feel comfortable. My one friend I work with in radio always says, "It's so nice to wake up on a Saturday morning and hear your calming voice reading the news." I take this as a compliment, because I know how to present the news in a way that is both authoritative, but still accessible to the general public. I would love to collaborate on new projects. I am laid back and easy to work with, but also know how to get things done!
