Timothy M. Bashor

Served as a USMC Infantry Officer for 22 years where I developed my "Command Voice" and public speaking ability. Afterward, I owned and operated my own Book Shop for 5 plus years and was a leader in the local Chamber of Commerce. As a Book Shop owner, I frequently conducted "reading" events for my adult and juvenile customers which were very well received. I lectured and taught at UC Berkeley as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for three years. For the last 16 years, I have been a Diplomat for the U.S. Department of State and served in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. As such, I have often been required to speak at public events. I have often been told by colleagues and strangers alike that I have a very good voice to listen to and have been recommended for radio or to read audio books. Interestingly, it is a job that I have always dreamed of having. Now I have the time to pursue it passionately.
