Ted Shumaker is an on-air radio personality, comedian, and producer living in Detroit, MI. After nearly two decades in New York, Ted is now based in Detroit, where he's developing an online radio station that will showcase the diverse pool of talent within the Metro Detroit region. Ted hosted a music, variety, talk show for over a decade on East Village Radio and was the global music director for Viva Radio - American Apparels in-store music for over ten years. He recently produced a pop up radio residency with Shinola in Detroit, New York Men's Fashion Week, Coachella and Sonos for Pitchfork Radio. In 2016 Ted hosted and curated music events for Film Society of Lincoln Center, MOMA, along with Jameson Whiskey in Dublin 2015. Ted is also a commercial voice over artist represented by Abrams Artists Agency as heard on commercials for CNBC, ESPN, Subaru, Kohls, Victorinox, and Dubai Life TV. Ted is the in house voice at Keyworth Stadium for Detroit City FC Soccer. He also starred in the 2010 "Everybody Knows Someone Who Loves a Honda" campaign as seen on the Super Bowl.
