Tiffany Apan is gaining an entertainment career that is traversing many different corners of the industry theatre to film to music to writing.
Tiffany's most recent theatre role was 'MarvelAnne' in Charles Bush's 1950s teen beach party parody, Psycho Beach Party, a role for which she recieved critical acclaim; she played the dramatic role of 'Dr. Charlotte' in Falsettos and the comedic role of 'Paige Harper' in Ed Wood Slept Here. She also portrayed 'Hodel' in Fiddler on the Roof, 'Brenda' in Lovers and Other Strangers, and 'Claire de Lune' in On the Town. She also originated the role of one of two Free Style Jazz Singers in Marta Effinger's Whispers Want to Holler where she also got to work with world renounced jazz musician, Billy Harper (who had written music for the production). She also has various other roles in opera, musical theatre, Shakespeare, and children's theatre.
Tiffany's film credits include several independant films such as: The Girl (starring Michael Jackson's former bodyguard, Scott Cummings, Playboy Covergirl Lisa Neeld, Robert Z'Dar, and Ari Lehman), Slashers Gone Wild (winner at the 2006 Indie Gathering), Doll Nazis Must Die (Dark Xmas Film Convention 2007), Into the Pit: The Shocking Story Behind Deadpit.com, Siren, Dead of Winter, Meat For Satan's Ice Box, and Heavy Mental.
Tiffany has performed solo concerts throughout the east coast and midwest (US) at clubs, art galleries, acoustic venues, and film/pop culture festivals/conventions. She toured to support her debut album, "Poet" which covered several genres of music from celtic/folk to gothic to classical to progressive rock to pop/new age and a touch of metal. Prior to 'Poet,' she released two EPs in 2007 titled Porcelain Doll and Ghost. She is currently working on a follow-up album to Poet which is slated for 2010 release. She has also appeared on other recordings including artist collaborations, film soundtracks, and compilations.
Tiffany has also written for the mini-zine, Vinilian Press.
