Trista Shaye is an up and coming voice actress with fifteen audio books and counting under her belt, has been cast in a video game, and was nominated twice for "top 5 finalists" for voiceover in that video game out of hundreds. Naturally, her accent is mid-western but she can produce British, Scottish, Southern, and various other accents, as well as change her range for male and female roles. The most characters she's read for at one time in a single chapter is ten and over twenty in an entire book. Making each character unique to his or her self is one of her favorite aspects of voiceover and she enjoys rising to the challenge. Having a long history in theater and some film, she knows how to become the characters and bring them to life for the listener's enjoyment.
She has experience with Audacity, which she uses to record auditions - past and present - and finished products.
She's very professional to work with and will let you know if things are on schedule or ahead and is willing to make the changes you, as the author, might want after listening to a recording - a tweak in an accent, a different expression of a line, a different animal noise - whatever it may be.
Trista Shaye is a lively, vivid narrator who is always ready to listen to your input and produce your product in a timely, professional fashion.

It is not uncommon to associate children's book narration with more mature, even elderly voices - something grandfatherly or grandmotherly. Well, I am here to tell, you Trista Shaye is going to change all that. Her voice is fresh and youthful, yet wonderfully modulated, agile, and eminently capable of creating all those unique and fascinating characters one meets in a children's story.Maria K, Land Far Away Illustrator.
That is not to say Trista should not venture into other forms of literature - I can't wait to hear where her career as a voice artist goes next.
Trista has a smooth, calm voice that brings stories to life. The wonderful voices she creates, give the characters as much presence as Maria’s illustrations do in the print books. She manages the odd words that I’ve put together while writing the stories with aplomb and manages to make my rhyme schemes sound perfectly normal! I fully recommend her talents to anyone looking for an audiobook narrator.Mandy Ward, Land Far Away Author.
Trista is a very professional reader with an excellent work ethic. I enjoy working with her and hope to work more with her.Tim Akers, Dusty's Adventures & Key of Apollyon Series Author.
