Brian Cummings is a multifaceted performer, who has been a staple in voice-over as a gifted talent, writer, producer, and musician. From believable straight man to characters and animation, his work is varied and memorable. He’s been warm and inviting, a macho pitchman, an insane psycho. He’s delivered sly sensuous invitations and even pulled off a screaming rock & roll vegetable. When not hyping DVD’s, major feature films, and sweet family TV fare, Brian’s pitched everything from breakfast cereals to toothbrushes, universities to hot cars to supermarkets. My range is fairly wide. Though my natural speaking voice is probably a speedy 30-40 male midrange, I go from a Don La-esq announcer to young mid 20's smooth dude. I was actually hired twice on different spots that began with my voice-print in the 21-30 range & drop in register 4 or 5 times every time the copy mentioned "lower" price. I'm fluent in most regional American dialects and also adept at varietal Brits, middle Europeans, some Middle Eastern (I played a recurring Jordanian Archeologist in a cartoon series), French, Germanic, Hispanic, Asians. I'm also fairly quick study and I'm told, adept at comedy & ad libs.
My voice-over study ranges from Sherwood Oaks Experimental College to Joan Gerber's Workshop, Dee Marcus' Off The Wall Improv Workshop, Film Industry Workshops, To 4 years with my mentor/coach, Daws Butler. I've also taught/coached voice-over classes for over 25 years.

“Brian Cummings is simply an amazing voice over artist. Some of DGE's most successful projects have Brian driving the brand. You would be smart to have him involved in your's." Robbie Davis , President/CEODG Entertainmen
“My first question when working on a radio spot tends to be--"Is Brian Cummings available?" One thing you can expect from Brian is the unexpected. He delivers characters, not voices--so important in today's modern world of authentic advertising. He loves what he does and he's a joy to work with. Just don't book him when I need him!” ” Chris CoyleDick Orkin's Radio Ranch
“Brian is one of the top pros in a very demanding industry. There are thousands of voiceover actors in this country. But in the movie trailer and entertainment industry, only a tiny handful get a chance to work their vocal magic on a regular basis. Brian is one of those select few. He's incredibly gifted as an announcer, a character voice and a human being. He's a true pro in every since of the word and an incredibly nice guy, whom I've employed literally hundreds of times. I should also mention that he's got a twisted sense of humor and a killer musical talent. Which makes him one of the most fun VO actors in the business to work with.” Craig MurrayCMP
“Brian Cummings is an amazing Voice Over performer with many years of experience in all areas of the VO field. No matter what the script, whether it's an announcer, a "real" guy or a character, you only have to hire ONE person, Brian! He also provides exciting, entertaining classes for the new Voice Over performer." Lou HuntWord Of Mouth Productions
